Admissions at Prem Tinsulanonda International School

Prem Tinsulanonda International School welcomes enquiries from prospective students of all ages and nationalities. Applying to any new school can seem confusing or daunting. We are here to support you. Please contact the Admissions Team for advice, support or for general enquiries.

How to apply to Prem

If you are considering Prem for your child, and would like to visit the campus, please arrange a tour to suit your schedule by completing the Registration of Interest and Schedule a Tour. It is preferable to visit during term time so you can see the school in action. Meetings can also be arranged with the Senior School Principal for entry to Grades 6 to 12, and the Junior School Principal for entry to Early Years (Kindergarten) and Grade 1 to 5.

The Application Process 

1. Complete the Application for Admission
2. Ensure that all the required documents are included in the application. See Required Document Checklist.
3. If admissions tests have not yet been completed, an assessment and interview will be arranged with the Director of Admissions. We request that all students join the Director of Admissions at Prem for the assessment. In certain circumstances, the Director of Admissions will arrange a Skype interview and assessment for those students applying from overseas. For students with English as a second language, the assessment must be completed at Prem. 
4. The school will review all documents, interviews and test results. 
5. Your application and the supporting documents will be sent to either the Junior or Senior School Principal for consideration. The Director of Boarding will also review the application if you have applied for boarding. 
6. Parents will be notified of the decision by email. For successful applications.
7. The Offer of Place letter will include an Acceptance of Offer of Place form which you are required to sign and return to the Admissions Office. Both documents will indicate the date by which the Foundation Fee must be paid. At this stage the Foundation Fee is used as security against the offered place and is non refundable. Also enclosed with the Offer of Place will be: 

• Subject Selection information
• Uniform order form
• Boarding handbook (if relevant)
• Rules for Responsible use of IT Form.
Please note it is a requirement for all students at Prem Tinsulanonda to own a Macbook
• Fee invoice
• An addressed envelope to enable you to return the completed and signed Acceptance of Offer and Acceptable Use Form to the Admissions Office

8.  Visa Support Letter for a student visa permitting your child to study in the Kingdom of Thailand (if required).

Applications to the Intensive English Programme (IEP)

The Application Process 

Contact the Admissions Office to discuss your educational requirements. Fee schedules, term calendars and class schedules are available on request. If you are considering the Intensive English Programme for your child, please arrange a visit to our campus by completing the Registration of Interest and Schedule a Tour. It is best to visit during term time so you can see the school in action. Meetings can also be arranged with the IEP Coordinator. 

1. Complete the Application for Admission
2. Ensure that all the required documents are included in the application. See Required Document Checklist.
3. All students applying to the Intensive English Programme must join the Director of Admissions at Prem for the interview and assessment. 
4. The school will review all documents, interviews and test results. 
5. Your application and the supporting documents will be sent to the Intensive English Programme, Team Leader for consideration. The Director of Boarding will also review the application if the application is for a Grade 6+ student.  The final decision on the application is made by the Head of School. 
6. You will be notified of the decision by email.
7.  The Offer of Place letter will include an Acceptance of Offer of Place form which you are required to sign and return to the Admissions Office. Both documents will indicate the date by which the Security Deposit must be paid.  At this stage the Security Deposit is used as security against the offered place. Also enclosed with the Offer of Place will be: 

• Uniform order form
• Boarding handbooks if relevant
• Rules for Responsible use of IT
• Fee invoice
• An addressed envelope to enable you to return the completed and signed Acceptance of Offer form and Acceptable Use Form to the Admissions Office
